Mass spectrometry (MS)
A method that confirms a peptide's identity by measuring its molecular weight.
COA
Certificate of Analysis. The per-batch document reporting purity and identity.
Reconstitution
Dissolving a lyophilised peptide in a solvent before use in the laboratory.
Reference material
A characterised substance supplied for laboratory research rather than for consumption or therapeutic use.
CAS number
A unique identifier assigned to a chemical substance by the Chemical Abstracts Service.
